Description
This Dutch company is a large dealer holding company in the Netherlands. They provide sales, maintenance, damage repair and service to all brands and types of vehicles from passenger cars & vans to trucks. They are also brand dealers for Mercedes-Benz, Ford & Kia. In addition to passenger cars and vans, they are one of the largest truck dealers in the Netherlands. Due to private individuals' fear of the costs of an electric car, the sales of the company is mainly new or nearly new driven (with factory warranty). This ensures a lower market value of older electric vehicles, especially if the battery pack is already starting to become less. Now the company is looking to boost selling (older) vehicles with a high quality and a long warranty period. With that a new segment is added to the market for electric vehicles. This segment is now often hesitant to switch to sustainable driving.The residual value of new ones will also improve, making the turning point for sustainable driving even more attractive. Batteries are not actually being repaired at the moment. It is important to give an impulse to the sale of second-hand electric cars by being able to repair the batterypack. Therefore the company is looking for partners that have a professional solution to refurbish batteries of cars and or trucks in the framework of a commercial agreement with technical assistance.
